Our First Photo Shoot

The latest edition of 4X6 Photo Love is now live here at 2 peas in a bucket.  This is a free, year long course where Shimelle Laine adds an extra photo each month to the LOs she demonstrates.

This month there are 5 photos and she has moved onto double page layouts.  I combined March and April’s LOs to give me a double page spread of the first photo shoot I did with Puddle Duck after I bought my DSLR camera last year.

The camera embellishments are by SJ Dowsett.  She does the most gorgeous digi characters and printables.  You can see more of her work here.  This set she did as a freebie for Shimelle’s Love your Photos Love your Pictures course last year – you can see the influence of the course in the photos. (And the course is also the reason I bought the camera in the first place.)

There are seven photos here.  And, just incase you don’t believe me, here’s where the seventh is hiding.

For Puddle Duck it was just an afternoon playing at the park, but she was prepared to pose and let me take photos – it doesn’t always happen.  She’s even been known to tell me I’m not a proper Mommy because I take photos of weird things ALL the time.  (Fellow scrappers will know where I’m coming from on that one.)

The other thing that was great was that she told me how much she liked the priory ruins, which is a place her Grandma used to play when she was a girl.

I’m off to search my boxes of photos for five 4X6 prints to use for this months LO.

Due to the time difference you still have a day to get a LO stamped for Scrapbookers Anonymous’ May challenge.  I’ve sent off my DT submission for June, which should be posted soon.  You wouldn’t believe how tricky it is to machine stitch a circle on a piece of paper less than 3 inches square (that’s all I’m saying!).
