Photo Scavenger Hunt 2013 – Part 4

Standard

Time for the monthly round up of Rinda’s Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt.  I took some time off work and took Puddle Duck to a few places and I think I’m about done!

For our first day out we returned Puddle Duck’s books to the library to collect her reading challenge certificate – then toy shopping.  She wants this windmill for Christmas:

And she loves this dinosaur display outside our local toy shop:

We based ourselves in Chertsey for a week, so that we could visit the local themes parks and Historic Royal Palaces.  Here’s what we found:

Hamleys are selling dinosaur pillows

and I’m sure this Lego Underground map counts as a mosaic

This stained glass window is in the Great Hall at Hampton Court Palace

and this Tudor Courtier is definitely out of place in the Baroque Fountain Courtyard.

Kew gardens gave us a bonus item – a sundial,

a tower,

and a mosaic (under the tree top walk):

I think this is supposed to be Thorpe Park’s idea of a funny sign – trying to sell a run down shack:

and I finally snapped a sunset:

We found a different style of tower at Chessington:

I snapped this giraffe from the new Zufari ride

Legoland gave us a selection of dinosaurs:

and the Leuvern Town Hall

We had a hospital appointment the day after we got home.  This mosaic is outside the entrance:

So that’s me done I think – I have some final choices to make and I’ll put together the full collection as a slide show soon.  Pop over to Rinda’s to see more scavenger hunt photos.

  1. We did the whole shebang at legoland – one of our favourite places. Looks like you had a great summer. A friend of mine just turned 50 and went to Hamleys – to have his photo taken with that lego tube map 🙂

  2. Love your photos – they are great. Thanks for popping by to see mine. Sorry I have only just picked up that you visited and are up our way – sorry to miss you. Have a great holiday.
