CKC November Blog Hop

Standard

Welcome to my part of the CKCB Members’ Blog Hop. You should have come here from Elaine.

DSC_0032Challenge #1 this month was to take inspiration from Pinterest. I’ve been doing that a lot lately, so that was a little too easy and I did 2. Puddle Duck picked this LO from the Crate Paper blog from the half dozen possibles I found:

And here is my interpretation, using some vintage photos from family days at the beach and of course my November Counterfeit kit:

And this is my second LO – using photos from my recent trip to Denver and inspired by this pin.

DSC_0020I rotated the design to accommodate my landscape prints and cheated a little by pulling in a few extra alphas.

Thanks for stopping by and now you should hop over to Janine…  If you’ve got lost or joined here, I’ve copied the full list for the hop below.

  1. So happy you are here this month, Julie. There is no cheating in CKC – it’s your page & you are using your stash – it’s all GOOD! Love the scale of both of these pages.

  2. Love those photos in the first LO — priceless!! And the grid showcases them well. And the 2nd Lol is fabulous! Love that design and the placement of the photos with the paper and matching letter stickers. Awesome!! Heidi (here via CKC Hop)

  3. the colour blocks really caught my eye! Great layouts and Pinterest is just awesome for inspiration isn’t it? You made two wonderful pages
