Having a Blast

Standard

I’ve been busy this week.  Puddle Duck’s bedroom is done and I’ve been having a blast with Shimelle’s Scrapbook Process course. I have all but finished my Lapland scrapbook album – just titles and journalling for 3 pages and one left to embellish and it’s done.  I’ve even done a card to fit in the window on the front cover.

I think I’ll wait until that’s finished and show you the complete album.  For now I have two pages to share for challenges and both using Counterfeit kits.  First is a page from this month’s kit, using this month’s sketch on the Facebook group Sketchy Scrappers:

Puddle Duck insisted on helping and adding some sparkle with Stickles.  I think I might need to add something to the top right of the photos – maybe some journalling will do it; and some more sparkle!

My second page uses my counterfeit kit from last December and fits Shimelle’s challenge to produce a page with strong horizontal lines.

I’m beginning to think that I need a new way to scrap 3 4X6 photos – I seem to be doing this a lot lately!

  1. Such cute layouts.
Just a suggestion, I use Picassa collage maker to create A4 size sheets of different sized photographs and layouts can then take on much different looks. I use AldiPhoto to process as they are cheapest for A4 sized prints 🙂

  2. I was so tempted with the Shimelle course – I might just get it later in the year. But it looks like it’s being very inspirational for you. Two great layouts and the strong lines work really well in that second one!
