School’s Out

Standard

I didn’t intend it to be so long since my last post, but better late than never here’s the page I made with my late find Soduku print paper and what was left of my July Counterfeit kit. I used the 1 August sketch from Stuck?! but with one landscape 4X6 photo rather than the two square photos in the sketch.

It had to be a school photo with all those numbers on the background paper and I had a photo printed from Puddle Duck’s last day at Primary School.  I’ve been dying to use that title for ages!

I went into my collection of school themed stash for some extras.  I had some small Jolee’s Boutique stickers so I decided to add them to a scattering of stars diagonally across the page.  I also had a pack of chipboard stickers and I managed to work in the classmates piece – the colours are a pretty good match so it doesn’t stick out too much.

I never thought I’d be able to use the yellow US school bus on a page, but one featured in the end of term school play so it won’t be too out of place once the page fits into the whole story in the album. I was on a bit of a roll so I decided to scrap the set of the photos from that lunchtime, starting with an old Citrus Kits sketch I’d saved to Pinterest and a sheet of aqua paper which was with my school stash (it’s the B-side from Fancy Pants’ Back to School collection).

And then a pocket page to go with it:

So that’s that kit just about used up.  I’ve already scrapped some photos from the party they went to after school so I’ll do the back of the pocket page to match that LO.  I like this idea of scrapping in album sections rather than random pages.
